Hooray! Foto Finish is back!!
I'm hoping to climb out of my bubble and actually start posting in a more regular fashion, so here's my start...
This is Lake Pleasant, in Peoria, Arizona.
The water, in some places looked almost teal blue!
Looking at this shot, I find it hard to remember that it was 109F when I took it.
My sister & I traveled to Arizona to spend Father's Day weekend visiting our Dad. The three of us took a drive from his house to Lake Pleasant that Saturday.
I believe that spiny plant is an Ocotillo, but it was too hot to get out of the car for a closer look.
It was so beautiful there,
but we were very happy to see a Shaved Ice truck/cart!
To see some more TRAVEL photos,
pop on over to Cat Patches now.
Have a great weekend!

Oh wonderful! So glad to have you back. I called those scriggly scraggly cactus when I was a little girl.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo - we do not have that plant in New Zealand. There was a piece on our news tonight about your deadly heat wave.
