"Jason's Guitar" quilt

Tomorrow,
Saturday, May 14, 2011 this quilt
will be part of a silent auction at the
Walk for Mental Health in Ayala Park, Chino, CA.

I can't believe how strange the colors came out in these photos!!  The pieced borders are purple & green,
and the musical fabric is white background
with either gray & black or all black notes.
The backing fabric is solid black!
Oh well.
I will attempt to get some nice pictures of it
hanging at the event tomorrow.  :^)

For some background & to see the actual colors,
you can go here
& here .

Anyway, here's the quilted quilt,
(before I put the binding on).
It's about 72" X 90" & is laying on a queen-size bed.

I'll post more after the event!

Black, I tell you, it really is BLACK!

Ginger, at Ginger's Quilt Shoppe
in Upland, CA
did a fabulous job on the quilting!
Thank you SO MUCH Ginger!!!

If you're in the area
come on out to Ayala Park in Chino.
It's at Edison & Central
and there will be lots of signs
pointing the way!
There will be live bands playing all day,
as well as mental health info booths
and food booths.
Come out & walk
or bring a chair and sit & enjoy the music!
I've heard that some of
Jason's music will be played too.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. This is a good common sense Blog. Very helpful to one who is just finding the resources about this part. It will certainly help educate me.
